Wall Repair & Patching

Yes! Use a hole saw + jig to drill new holes for the handle and latch.

Trace the box outline, drill starter holes, and use a keyhole saw (drywall) or hole saw (wood/plaster). Turn off power first!

How do I ground a metal electrical box?

Attach the circuit’s ground wire to the box’s grounding screw (green hex head) using a pigtail connection if needed.

Use heavy-duty Velcro strips, wall-mounted brackets, or a freestanding design that slots between the mattress and bed frame.

Pilot holes: Pre-drill with a bit slightly smaller than your screw. Countersink screws: For a flush finish. Avoid edges (at least 1" from board ends).
