Use 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water with 2 drops of dish soap. Spray and wipe with a microfiber mop to avoid streaks.

Apply walnut meat or a wax stick for minor scratches. For deeper gouges, use wood filler + touch-up stain.

For engineered hardwood, use urethane-based wood flooring adhesive. For solid hardwood, nail-down installation is preferred.
